How to stabilize the system by avoiding the large displacement in SOL101

The force (may not be a equal) being applied at the links end and both the links are connected by an intermediate link via revolute joint.

In the result the large rotational displacement being observed which results very less stress. Please someone suggest me how stabilize this mechanism.

Hello Mr. Chandrashekhar,

SOL 101 will not run with mechanisms. That is if the body is free to rotate as rigid body. Sol 101 will produce a singular stiffness matrix and would not run. If the body is infect freely rotating than inertia relief can be used in SOL 101. Linear Static Users guide has information on how to set up inertia relief.
