How do I work around fatal message 4647?

I get the following fatal message around 20 design iterations into a topology optimization problem of a large system:

USER FATAL MESSAGE 4647 (TIMCHK)

INSUFFICIENT TIME TO COMPLETE DFNSB

CPU ESTIMATE =271 SEC. CPU REMAINING =198 SEC.

I/O ESTIMATE =1302 SEC. I/O REMAINING =99999999 SEC.

I assume it's due to the I/O remaining time, but why does this appear - and how do I work around it to have my solution converge properly?

Hello ThorPaulli,

Often these times indicated are just estimates and could be inaccurate. Please be sure that you don't have the time command specified in the executive control section of the run. Otherwise it may be best to contact the support with additional information such as the verion of nastran you are using and f04 file etc.

Thanks for your reply, Sanjay. I saw I had the "all" write option enables for displacement, stress and SPC forces, so the f06 file would grow to a ridiculous size. That may have been the problem. I'm runinng it again without the write option to see.
