SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 4276 (UNPACK)

Hello,

I got a following fatal message in SOL 400 when I was running MSC.Nastran V2018.0.1.

*** SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 4276 (UNPACK)

ERROR CODE 31 PID= 0

*** USER INFORMATION MESSAGE 4276 (UNPACK)

THE DIAG 44 RELATED A NASTRAN DUMP IS SENT TO LOG FILE.

USER ACTION: THIS INFORMATION MAY BE USEFUL TO MSC FOR DEBUGGING YOUR PROBLEM.

PLEASE CONTACT MSC CLIENT SUPPORT.

I also obtained a message in the same file(f06) “BIOMSG: ERROR 31 HAS OCCURRED IN ROUTINE UNPACK, FILE INDEX = 0. STATUS = 0”

What is happening in the system?

Please clear all files like ifpdat, master, DBALL, xdb, op2 from the prior run. Make sure there is plenty of space available in the folder where input file is located. For Scratch operation specify a path where there is plenty of space available .

Use something like Sdir=E:\scratch at optional keywords. See attached image.

Thank you for your advice. The input file is located in the directory of shared server and I use command prompt when it is running Nastran. So I can’t know an address where the directory located because of access privileges. I will contact the center in my workplace and try again.
