SOL101 Contact

I am trying to solve a simple contact with just three parts that are glued together. As soon as the solve starts I got the following error message and the solve is terminated:

Fatal Error Message:

*** USER FATAL MESSAGE 6198 (MPYAD)

ALL MPYAD METHODS HAVE BEEN DESELECTED.

USER INFORMATION: METHODS MAY BE DESELECTED INTERNALLY BY

THE MODULE AND/OR BY THE USER VIA SYSTEM CELL 66.

USER ACTION: CHECK THE VALUE OF SYSTEM CELL 66, OR DO NOT SET THE CELL.

MPYAD: KERR=1, please try adding more memory

I am not really sure what CELL 66 means? is it a line number on the .bdf file?

I really need some assistance in figuring this out.

System cells are described in the Quick Reference Guide, Ch. 2; in your case, system cell 66 is the MPYAD cell. If you didn't specifically set it, it may have been deselected by the module (as the error message indicates).

It also suggests adding more memory, but unless your model is large, it could be a bug. You should contact MSC to see what they say.

User need not require to specify the system cell 66, more of this problem looks like of modelling problem, if you are not able to debug send email at :
