Required cards for SOL 109 and SOL 112 with Acceleration as input using SPCD

Hello,

Thanks and in advance.

I want to apply acceleration as input load in SOL 109 and SOL 112.

My system of unit is density (T/mm^2), modulus (N/mm^2). My acceleration data is in g's.

I would appreciate a template of syntax in Case Control and Bulk Data sections.

Case control, remove method for SOL109

METHOD = 1

  TSTEP = 1

  SPC = 7

  DLOAD = 3

For SOL 109 & 112 you can use bulk data:

TLOAD1  4      7                      ACCE 1

SPCD    7      37     3     9810.

DLOAD   3     1.     1.      5

SPC1,7,1,37

TABLED,1...

TSTEP,1,......

METHOD = 1

The above entry points to EIGRL in bulk data, and SOL109 is direct transient hence METHOD and EIGRL are not required in SOL 109, even if you define Nastran will not use them

Results that I get from SOL 109 and SOL 112 with above configuration do not make sense.

My input load is enforced motion acceleration at say four knuckle locations.

Do I need any specific PARAM cards or something to avoid possible 'over driving' scenario?

My result values are 1000x higher than what it should be.
