Is there a script available to convert a BDF file from the large NASTRAN format to the small format? I have several BDFs used as INCLUDE files to a large nastran deck but they are all in the Large format which is not necessary or desirable. Thanks.

I appreciate your responses. Maybe I should have been more descriptive. I'm aware I could use PATRAN to do as you've indicated but I have 115 BDF files that I need to convert so that is not a very efficient solution. I was hoping for some executable I could run all the files through to produce the desired output.
I haven't found anything yet... I assume you need to keep the 115include files distinct, rather then allowing them to be merged into a single input file?
That is correct. Sorry again, I should have mentioned that. But yes, the original 115 BDFs need to be kept organized as individual files to be used as INCLUDE files to the NASTRAN run. I just need them in the small format to satisfy my customers requirements.
