SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 3001

Hello,

I was running SOL400 in MSC.Nastran V2019.0 and obtained the following message.

What can I do?

*** SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 3001 (VDR)

THE INPUT DATA BLOCK NAMED OLB AT POSITION 5 DOES NOT EXIST.

USER INFORMATION: THIS ERROR IS CAUSED BY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. THE DATA BLOCK WAS NEVER CREATED.

2. THE DATA BLOCK WAS DELETED.

3. THE DATA BLOCK IS SPECIFIED ON A TYPE STATEMENT IN THE CURRENT SUBDMAP OR A HIGHER SUBDMAP

BUT THE CURRENT QUALIFIER VALUES DO NOT MATCH

THE QUALIFIER VALUES OF THE DATA BLOCK(S) ON THE DATABASE.

Providing f06,f04 and log file will help to debug. This looks to have failed in data recovery requests. Could you comment out all output requests like OLOAD, LOADFAC, STRESS, ETC and give a run...

If this does not help then provide f06,f04 and log along with the header file.

Hi, phadke. Thank you very much for your clear advice. I did comment out and run. But same error existed in f06 file.

I have attached log file (“XXXXX” in the file is edited by myself after stopping the analysis).

I’m sorry, but f04 file is over 16MB and I could not attach to here. If needed, I will attach f06 and f04 file separately.

          27 is inside out

This is when the solution starts diverging and then it starts reducing the load. If you run it till 350. then it should complete succesfully without deforming the element too much.

You could use fixed time stepping with small time steps to get better convergence.
