Is there a way to output Glue Patch Shear/Traction data ?

Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a way of outputting shear/traction force and/or stress in the glue patches... Basically trying to "recover" lap shear data.

Hello,

Glue contact force output, both Normal as well as tangential is available in Nastran. BOUTPUT output request will write the results into post file.

BOUTPUT(PLOT)=ALL

You need to use output format that supports contact results, H5, or enhanced OP2 ( param,post,1).
