Random loads (PSD) + Static Loads (inertial acceleration)

Hello,

I'm concerning with Random analysis using either MSC Random Tool either Nastran.

I have a PSD table (Hz vs g^2/Hz) on wich I need to superimpose a static load expressed in g.

So I have a random "load" plus a static load, how can I evaluate their effects when acting together?

Please take a look at the following article:

Is the static G loading defined at discrete frequencies? If so, it might be that doing a 'sine burst' is what you are looking for... in which case a spreadsheet is supplied to help convert the sine burst at a specific frequency into a psd to add in with your existing psd.
