Hi folks. I'm trying to run a nonlinear (SOL400) model with Segment-to-Segment contact. I defined friction in my model as FTYPE = 6 on BCPARA and FRIC = 0.1 on BCONPRP, but when I submit my model for a Nastran run, the following warning shows up: ROUTINE ALLOC: FRICTION IS NOT SUPPORTED IN SMP MODE.
The model converges without fatal, but the friction forces and stresses are not calculated, appear as zero in the f06 file. The warning message above seems to indicate that FRICTION formulation is not taken into account during the solution, what can I do to solve to problem? Looks like the warning is more related to server capabilities rather than a problem with my model. Does anyone has experienced something like this?
