Hi Brian- what is the question about solid to shell connections? These can be done with MPC/RBE/RSSCON/Glued Contact... lots of options, though these days glued contact seems to be the method of choice. Here is a webinar that might be helpful:
Thank you for the prompt response ! To be honest I thought I was searching sim-companion when I typed this in.
I am trying to transition a shell mesh that simulates a honeycomb panel with carbon fiber facesheets to a solid/shell 3D element representation of the same. I will watch the webnair you referenced and come back here with any resulting questions (I assume that is okay).
