How could I define a variable Mach Number in FLDS?

Hello everyone,

I would like to do both static and dynamic aeroelastic analysis for a helicopter main rotor blade; therefore, I need to define the Mach Number and Dynamic Pressure as a function of radial coordinate. How could create such a case?

Thanks in advance.
  • FLD120 is related to Nastran/Patran aeroelasticity module. Before you get acquainted with Flightloads, it is a good idea to have basic understanding on Patran and nastran. Please go through NAS101 and PAT301 before you go into FLD120.

SOL 144 is for static aeroelasticity which uses TRIM entry.
    SOL 145 is for Flutter
    SOL 146 is Dynamics response.

In TRIM you can set the Mach no and Dynamic pressure, but it cannot be a function of radial coordinate.
