MSC Nastran

MSC Nastran Community Forum I'm trying to run sol 111 and get back composite stresses. I would like to run MSC.Random afterwards, which means I need an xdb. For some reason, when writing to an XDB, I only get back the homogenous results.

However, if I export to an h5 file, I see all the ply data. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this?

According to the Nastran 2019FP1 release guide, the SOL 111 composite ply stress is only available in f06, h5 and op2 files. It is not available in the XDB.
