I have to perform a thermoelastic analysis of a optic, where I have the start temperature of the optic and the time history of the temperature on one face.
In the past, I have run static thermal analysis using discrete temperatures to generate temperatures at all structural nodes for further stress analysis.
I am looking for examples I can study in the setup of a run to compute nodal temperatures from a known boundary condition in order to get started.
You can first run SOL 153 to compute the temperatures. The temp plots is used to create a spatial field which is then used as a LBC in the SOL 101 run. Run SOL 101/400 to compute the stresses due to temperatures.
