I have to perform a thermoelastic analysis of a optic, where I have the start temperature of the optic and the time history of the temperature on one face.
In the past, I have run static thermal analysis using discrete temperatures to generate temperatures at all structural nodes for further stress analysis.
I am looking for examples I can study in the setup of a run to compute nodal temperatures from a known boundary condition in order to get started.
Then you can get the Temp data in PCH file and include in structural run. The TEMP Entries will be output at the last time step from the thermal run. So it is not exactly accurate, but should be sufficient if there is not high variations in temperatures.
