just in case you are unaware of it, are you using the Nastran Documentation search functionality?
When you open the Nastran documentation package in adobe reader it has a "magnifying glass" search icon to the right of the title, using this enables a search across ALL the pdf documents in the Nastran library set. If you were unaware of it then do give it a go, it will probably return far more links than you want but I find it a help. This search will also search the release guides of every MSCNastran version and not just the latest; this is vey useful as new functionality is often described in detail in the release guide of the version it was introduced.
Is there a specific place I can download the Nastran Documentation Package? I normally download PDFs on simcompanion and I don't recall any individual PDF having this magnifying glass.
Yes, go to the software download centre mscsoftware.subscribenet.com login with your email account it's been a couple of years but hopefully you still have your password. Under the software products select MSC Nastran then go to either the current or a prior version and you will see there is a documentation / example problems package for windows and linux - download the appropriate flavour, install and hopefully enjoy.
