How to model fibers in a 3D geometry

Hello Community,

I am trying to add fibers to a disc geometry. I used CBAR elements to model them, but it seems like these elements cannot be tension only.

After running the model with CBAR elements, the Bar Stresses, Axial seem empty. Does anyone know why that happens? I have attached the BDF file for more investigation.

Also, is there an option to model tension-only elements?

What is the best approach to model individual fibers for Nastran SOL400?

CROD has only tension and torsional stiffness if that's what you're after.

Yes, There is no Tension Only element MSC Nastran.
