Where can I find a list and descripcion of Nastran Error messages.

Hi, Is there a list of all numeric error messages from Nastran that is available to users?

The MSC Nastran Installation and Operations guide has a section entitled "Customizing the Message Catalog" in chapter 3.- this describes where the messages are and how to customise them. It gives the locations as:

install_dir/prod_ver/util/analysis.txt

on Linux

install_dir\prod_ver\util\analysis.txt

on Windows.

e.g: C:\MSC.Software\MSC_Nastran\20170\msc20170\util\analysis.txt

Simcompanion has the Nastran documentation if you need it, a link to documentation is:

simcompanion.mscsoftware.com/.../index
