Where is the ODYSSEE CAE examples directory?

The examples of ODYSSEE CAE are saved first in the installation directory, in the subfolder Documentation (by default: C:\Program files\ODYSSEE\CAE\Documentation).

In particular, ODYSSEE CAE GUI examples are saved within this subfolder, in Lunar\examples (by default: C:\Program files\ODYSSEE\CAE\Documentation\Lunar\examples).

However, since installation directory often requires administrator privileges for writing and editing files and directories, a copy of the Documentation folder content is made in the user's default Documents directory, in ODYSSEE\CAE\Examples subfolder (by default: C:\Users\username\Documents\ODYSSEE\CAE\Examples).

Once more, in particular, ODYSSEE CAE GUI examples are saved within this subfolder, in Lunar (by default: C:\Users\username\Documents\ODYSSEE\CAE\Examples\Lunar).

This copy is created when the user launches the ODYSSEE CAE GUI for the first time.

Since this copy is stored within the user's personal directory, its content can be modified as the user wishes without needing any administrator privileges, and new files can be written there as well.
