Patran 2024.1 Expands Rotor Dynamics Capabilities

Patran 2024.1 introduces significant enhancements to its rotor dynamics capabilities.

The new rotor dynamics interface, accessible from the Tools menu, supports comprehensive rotor modeling for 1D, 2D, and 3D elements. Users can now create, modify, show, delete, and plot rotor models with ease, utilizing the new interface.

The update also includes support for nonlinear harmonic analysis (SOL 128), allowing for more detailed and accurate simulations of complex rotor dynamics scenarios. 

Additionally, the Campbell Diagram generation and plotting have been integrated into the new rotor dynamics interface, providing users with a powerful tool for analyzing rotor stability and performance.
