I have a large number of results load cases in result window. I am interested in finding the maximum von-mises stress from all load cases.
I found max von-mises stress from Create -> Fringe and selecting multiple loadcases.
Another option i used, is i created and saved derived maximum von-mises results using Create-> Results-> Maximum and then choosing same parameters as in previous option.
Both the results give different stress.
I verified this by writing report file and think derived results could be wrong.
Any idea why Create->Results option is not working correctly?
