I have two TET4 meshed solids from an assembly step file. How do I define the mating surfaces in "Loads/BC"? Is it "Create" - "Contact" - "Element Uniform" - "Deformable Body"? Or is it "Body Pair"?
First you create a 2 Contact Bodies (1 for each "part"), then create a Body Pair for each pair of bodies that might contact. This is pretty simple when you only have 2 bodies.
When you need to create a lot of bodies, look at Tools> Modeling >Contact Bodies/Pairs to "automatically" create bodies and pairs based user parameters.
