I want to calculate shear flows in wing box which requires modelling thin-walled structures. I have tried to model thin-walled beam using 2D shell elements but it didn't give the desired results (as expected).
I want to know if:
- MSC PATRAN supports modelling of thin-walled structures
- MSC NASTRAN has capability to solve for thin walled structures
