I recently viewed the SimAcademy Webinar: Automatic Contact Methods with MSC Nastran/Patran and I have a followup question on this

Regarding the patran tool that creates the contact bodies and contact pair, I can also see it in Patran 2017.0.2.

The webinar mentions using Patran 2018, does it mean I can not use it in patran 2017 even though it is available ?

You can use 'Tools>Modeling>Contact Bodies/Pairs' in any Patran version starting 2013 when it was first introduced to automatically generate contact bodies and contact pairs.
