How can we model bolted joints in MSC PATRAN?

I have to model bolted joints between two plates.

1) How can I model bolted joints?

2) Does PATRAN has elements which can be used to model bolted joints? How can we use those elements?

I am interested in stresses in plates. Stresses in bolts are of secondary importance.

One way is to use CFAST. It allows for quick modeling of rivet, bolt, or other fastener attachments between plate meshes. Here's a document on CFAST that should get you started:
