Is there a way to import a modal neutral file into Patran (or Femap or other software) if you do not have the original model (bdf or db)?

We have a case where the MNF needs to be adjusted but we do not have the files that were used to create it. Is there a way to import into Patran to recover the mesh?

Hi David,

MNF files can not be read into patran. ADAMS FLEX is capable of reading the MNF file.

Thanks for your response. Is there a way to modify the MNF using Adams Flex or export somehow to Patran? Adams Flex can reduce the number of nodes, but I need to be able to adjust mass/stiffness.
