Save graphic and data

Hi there!!

I doing tensile test with Patran and Nastran for my master thesis. I need save the graphic about result with a file .jpg o similar, it is possible? How? Also I would like change the background of graphic and the color about line because I will print this and black background is not good.

Futhermore I would like save data about stress and strain for each step, like a .txt file. Is it possible? In the section "Results" I see "Report" but I can't create anymore. Can anyone help me??

You can use File/Images to output images in various formats, including JPEG:

You can also use the "Copy to clipboard" icon to copy a snapshot of the viewport that you paste into Word/PowerPoint, etc.

To change the viewport background colour, use the icon shown in the image below. This will cycle between black, white, and graduated background.

When creating a report, make sure you're using the "Overwrite File" or "Append File" options (not "Preview"). These will create a file with the selected results.

Maybe i can't using the method about "Copy to clipboard" because in this method the software copy not graphic but the model, and i need a picture about graph. In the first your screen I see the field "Output" but where is it? i never seen that, i can find to search but I never see.

Yes, sorry, "Copy to Clipboard" only does the main viewport.

The "Output" form can be found under File/Images:

This has an option to create images of the graph window (XY Window):

But maybe I have any problem with report, only for the format, but I handling and I guess to find the right format!! Thank you so much.

OT: I have a big problem with a easy contact. If I make a PowerPoint with screenshot whit my steps can i share on this community in order to understand when I was wrong??
