I am trying to model wing spar web using "Shear panels". The model is as following:
1) skin as shell elements
2) spar cap as 1D beam elements
3) spar web as 2D shear panels
Model files and pictures are attached.
Issue: I have applied pressure (900*X*Y) in +z direction as a result i am getting displacements in both +z & -z direction (upper skin in positive and lower skin in -ive ) which is wrong.
Can someone help me in to sort out this problem?
Is there any literature available about shear panels?
