Strain energy total by group

I am not a Patran expert so i apologize if this is very simple...

I would like to get a list of percentages of strain energy by group per mode in a modal analysis.

I can see that you can plot it or list all elements, but i would like a sum over a predeinfed group. This is possible in FEMAP and available by scripting in Ansys.

Hi Steve,

Sorry, I am not aware of anyway to do this as a standard feature in patran. It likely can also be accomplished by scripting in PATRAN. Alternatively, one can define a set of elements to output ESE .
