Check of Interlaminar stresses using SOL400

Hello,

I performed the contact analysis using SOL400. I would like to check the Interlaminar stresses (Sigma1, Sigma2 and Sigma(3 or 12) of the CFRP Structure using Patran.

In the Post processing Results section of Patran, to check the Interlaminar stress I noticed options as Interlaminar Stress, Normal and Interlaminar Stress, Shear. Is they are same as Interlaminar stresses (Sigma1, Sigma2 and Sigma(3 or 12))?

I never performed SOL 400 using CFRP Structure.

Interlaminar Stress, Normal and Interlaminar Stress, Shear are interlaminar normal and shear stresses with 3 components in the basic coordinate system. Please note that TSHEAR option in NLMOPTS entry should be active in order to get meaningful interlaminar stresses.

Interlaminar Stress, Normal and Interlaminar Stress, Shear are interlaminar normal and shear stresses with 3 components in the basic coordinate system. Please note that TSHEAR option in NLMOPTS entry should be active in order to get meaningful interlaminar stresses.
