How to generate an bdf/dat file without using the analyze function?

I need to write an Input File for Nastran. My modell is created by Patran. I know this programms have an automatical interface. But I can´t use it in this case.

I want to generate an bdf/dat file from Patran without using the Nastran analysis. After getting the file I want to write the Input File out of these informations.

Do you mean that you want to write out the model without running Nastran automatically? If so, you can do this by using either the Analysis Deck or Model Only options on the Analysis form.

Analysis Deck will write out the full, run-ready bdf but without initiating a Nastran run. Model Only will write out the bulk data section only.

Let me know if you wanted something different.
