I am looking to apply a load to a meshed geometric surface/solid as a parametric gradient (i.e. a total load that starts as 0 nodal force at one corner of the surface and grows at each node as a spatial function as it gets further away from my starting coordinate, all which eventually sum to total load). How would I go about doing this?
Additionally, to work with a "total load" and the field, firstly set the field up with a nominal scale value (say 100) in its equation and after setting up the variable LBC use the Utilities/ Loads-LBCs / LBC Resultants to get the total value, then modify the field nominal value of 100 appropriately.
