Hello! Does the filter support wildcards other than "*"?

Yes, you can use "?" for single characters.

Is it possible to have more complex patterns:

digit character, number of digits, digits from range?

something like regex.

Not in the GUI. If you're doing something in PCL then there are a number of functions for more complex filtering/searching, e.g. str_abbreviation, str_assign, str_pattern - have a look the list of str_* functions for more.
