How to Limit Patran Random Memory Usage When Generating RMS Results?

UPDATE: More specifically, it is the "MSC Patran Random Application" (msc_prandom.exe) that is taking whatever RAM it needs, up to the max on my workstation. I'd like to limit that application's RAM usage in some way, to leave me with more headroom.

Is there a way to limit Patran's memory usage, particularly when generating RMS results using Patran Random? When I create RMS Stress results for example (of a moderate to large model), Patran loads and loads and eats up memory to above 95%.

I know it's model-size-related but I can't, or don't want to, make my model smaller now at the end of the effort. I am getting by with running each of X, Y & Z freq resp analyses separately, then generating the RMS results using three different h5 files. But that only helps keep memory usage to about 90% (it jumps to 99% if the h5 file has all three of X, Y & Z results.

I have larger models in my future and I need to know how best to manage memory use when generating RMS results.

Thanks!
