Import Step file error:
Error executing subprogram. Reason (errno) = 8113001. Unknown error

Question

I do not have the P_SCHEMA environment variable set. I've tried with "Import to Parasolid" checked and unchecked. I get a different error if "Import to Parasolid" is not checked: "Error occurred while importing the STEP AP203 file. The file may not be a valid AP203 file, hence cannot translate."

Any ideas what is preventing importing a .stp file?

 "Priscilla, One thing to check is for any spaces or special characters in the filename and folder path. Underscores are okay. But spaces and special characters have been known to cause this type of error. Also, avoid long paths. A good thing to do is to make a short name for the STP file and save it in a simple directory name. For example, C:	est\myfile.stp."
