  • Along with 3 others. Is Wes gone yet? Why does he get a service call and Vpt gets banned?

They haven't kicked me to the curb yet.

I think they hope to placate me and that I will then exude a calming influence here and possibly even speak favorably of pc-dmis/hexagon again. It's not unthinkable, I have in the past.

Just saying "pc-dmis stinks" won't get any of us anywhere. Nor will joining a group IMNSHO. My biggest complaint is the one major release per year policy, and I have been making that complaint for years now. For years it has gone unheeded. Now they have iced that cake with with this secret police style forum "management" so we can't even warn each other about the issues we have with the new releases. It is enough to make me want to look around at what other software might "power" my company's CMMs. That is what got their attention. The bottom line. They can delete "pc-dmis stinks" threads and disappear disgruntled users all day. They can not smooth lost revenue when individuals and company's decide not to buy their product.

I don't know what is going to happen. I do not know if I will like any of the other offerings better than pc-dmis. I do not know if I find one I want to switch to if my company will go along with that. I have a lot of influence when it comes to such decisions, but mine is not the final say. Until I figure those things out, I am keeping on keeping on, one long day after another, trying to the best I can.
