If your SMA is expired are you still entitled to MR that are released after your SMA expires? For example, I have version 4.2 and our SMA expired on 6/30/2008. Version 4.2 MR3 was released 2/10/2009. I'm I entitled to MR3?
I had a problem with Quindos the other day. It was a bug that had been in a procedure for 12 years, since the procedure was written. I emailed Germany about it. And they fixed it.
Just think about that for a minute.
How frustrated do you think people get when something as simple as window docking, comments, form feeds, etc.... is acknowledged as a problem and then NOT FIXED! This perpetuates the reputation of the software as broken and the company as a bunch of hacks sitting on their laurels as real, relatively simple problems slide across their desk every day. How incompetent does it make ALL of you guys look when some tech support guy tells a user "Oh, this is fixed in a newer version; go update," and the guy spends buku time and money to update, only to find out that, no, the support guy was talking out of his azz. Guess who will never believe a company about software updates ever again?
