I want to move the machine 16 inches from the wall on 2 sides x+ and y+, I tried to contact brown & sharpe also hexagonmetrology. No one gets back to me, and yes we are getting are cmm recertified right after the move.
Loose spec sheet on a global says around 12", I think. You can leave almost zero as long as the bridge isn't obstructed. Beware boxing yourself in is the real-world answer, because you will regret it.
