I have a 2006 Global Advantage. I need to find a spec. sheet on clearance distances. I want to move the machine 16 inches from the wall on 2 sides x+ and y+, I tried to contact brown & sharpe also hexagonmetrology. No one gets back to me, and yes we are getting are cmm recertified right after the move.
Leave yourself some extra room on the back side of the CMM. This will allow you to check parts that are too long for the machine... unless of course you don't want to! My machine is only 12" from the wall, which limits what I can check. If I could hang parts out the back of the machine, I could check longer parts in sections.
