  • I actually received notification just this afternoon from H.R. that we have filled this opening. We will likely be adding another position at sometime in the not-to0-distant future (likely mid to late 2012), and will gladly accept resumes to keep on file for future consideration.

It's definitely gotten nicer in the past few years. We've had a whole lot a new development in Denton since the DCTA/DART A-Train track was completed, just as I was starting to get sick of this town. Stuck out tongue closed eyes

We have been open to such considerations, though the specifics of such an arrangement would likely be considered on a case-by-case basis. I'm actually a software developer working on CAD/CAM and CMM automation-related projects, and absolutely not an H.R. guy. So, I've just been reposting what H.R. approved for me to post...

Those sound like fighting words! It's really not that bad... Being such a large metropolitan area, there really are places to work, live, and play to suit most anyone's desires. Even Denton is becoming hospitable Wink JK

I have to admit, I have on occasion likened Houston to some other parts of the human anatomy. Smiley

If you must live in that area FW or Denton or one of the other 'burbias is absolutely better than Dallas proper. Just watch out for those insane dry city/counties. There are parts of Houston, and probably every city ever, that should be avoided, but at least you can buy booze in all of them! *neener neener* Alien
