I don't care if we are springing forward an hour or falling back an hour time changes stink. I wish they would just pick a time and stay with it. I know we don't want to hurt Ben Franklins feelings (he first came up with the idea in the US), but he is dead and buried.

When I lived in AZ they did not observe daylight savings time, instead my work schedule shifted an hour to accomodate the rest of the country. AZ has since gotten on the badwagon with that, i believe. Indiana might be the last hold-out for not observing daylight savings. I have never been presented with a convincing argument as to why daylight savings time is useful. And Benny Franklin had a lot of good ideas, but this was not one of them. He also wanted the national bird to be the turkey. And he was an atheist, so I've always wondered what he'd think about the pledge of allegiance or the "In God We Trust" on all our currency. He'd probably go fly a kite in a thunderstorm with a key on the string...not for science, but just for kicks. Crazy Benny, what a character!
