Company check or personal check? 10-99's? 10-60"s Follow the word of the law and pay when its due or you are screwed with fines. If you are going to go legit I would get QuickBooks. Or is this just fun money?
Its a side business. I dont even have a tax id. I was wondering if anyone like me, charges taxes when contracting? I always charge tax. Although there are some companys are tax exempt
If you are charging taxes you better have a tax ID. You need to also get LLC name with state you in. Than a tax id and so on. I am living in Texas and don't know their laws but I am assuming they are pretty much the same as it is back in Michigan. Here is what I know so look up these sites from the state of Michigan and you should be able to find the same thing for what ever state you are in
