Need help with telling a QE that he is wrong. When you have a TP of Ø0.2 MMC|A|B MMC| with a hole 6.4 ± 0.2 and B hole is 6.4 ± 0.2. He said you cant add bonus to it. When you actually get 1.0mm TP.
Wrong.
Datum B allows for up to 0.4mm of datum shift. With MMC from the feature, you can have bonus tolerance opening your TP up to 0.6mm.
The relationship of B and the feature are very important for how the datum shift can be applied. For instance, if B is not perfectly oriented, it could leave you with 0 datum shift, even if it is at MMC.
