which way is the safest way to transport CMM machine? In my company, we have to transport Tesa Micro hite 3d from ground floor to the 1st floor. Do we have to "block" axes, is it necessary to do calibration again?
Calibration is always a standard idea, and unless you have millwrights\maintenance crew that have soft hands, attention to detail and experience in this.....outsource some riggers!!! Its cheaper than a new machine. IMHO, unless your company makes whoopee cushions, go with the pro's!!
