We have a lot of thin parts, some .030" with ±.0002 tolerance. The molded parts aren't that complicated, we do a lot of machining with CNCs with tight tolerances. I'm in search of a new job now and a lot are metal, so hopefully I will know that next. I'm scared to leave because this is the first factory job I have had and I am secure here. Always worked outside before this, landscaping and construction.
I work for a small company and I don't have any room to grow. However there is no one else here that can program so I am safe. I think there is more out there for me and I need to explore that. I think I am a good programmer but I have only worked here and I only know what I know.
