Anybody have any suggestions on podcasts or radio shows to pass time while this thing beeps stuff?

  • What are you currently listening to?

    If you like Joe Rogan:
RadioLab (topical, very well produced episodes)
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History (long, detailed stories from history with focus on people involved)
    Mysterious Universe (crazy sci-fi/conspiracy talk)
Our Fake History (explores crazy stories from history and tries to find actual proof to support the stories)
This American Life (weekly topical show)
Tangentially Speaking (Hosted by Chris Ryan, a frequent guest on JRE)

    I really enjoy:

Stuff You Should Know (like hitting a random Wikipedia page)
We're Alive (think 'The Walking Dead' but as an old school audio drama)
Earth Core (an audiobook podcast... kinda like a Micheal Chricton book... lots of science, lots of people getting eaten)
The GFL BOOK 1: THE ROOKIE (an audio book podcast... it's football, but in space!)
The Black (a podcast audiobook... an oil rig hits a mysterious substance and *** goes bananas)
Myths & Legends (interesting folklore from around the world)
Lore (urban legends from around the world.... darker than Myths & Legends)
More Perfect (same production staff as radiolab, talks about the American supreme court. I'm Canadian, but it's still interesting)
This Is That (think of The Onion, but on Canadian Nation Radio)
Star Talk Radio (Neil Degrass Tyson/Bill Nye talk about the universe)
Reply All (stories from the internet)
Heavy Weight (host convinces people to finish unresolved issues in their life and follows them while they do it)
Revisionist History (hosted by Malcome Gladwell... great topical episodes like: 'throwing underhand statistically increases free throw accuracy... why do basket ball players continue to throw overhand?')

Basically I just listen to podcasts for my entire 10 hour work day... I don't know how I get paid for this...
