Just picked it up yesterday. Haven't flown it yet, or shall I say crashed yet. Hopefully the weather tomorrow is decent. If all goes good Maybe I'll post some video. supposed to be 4K quality
I would suggest the Phantom4 pro. a little heavier it has sensors for the trees and such. Plus any kind of wind, I think the mavic will struggle a bit. Was actually talking with brother in law about doing this. I'll let you know how the mavic handles in the wind.
Im thinking if you got one of those little GPS tracking chips and put in your dogs vest, the Drone could follow that signal. But then again if you get a tracker you could follow on your phone. They are real cheap now and you can put it on anything and track it.
Update Schlag oh boy, This tiny little thing handled pretty nice in the wind. We had some off and on wind 10 to 15 mph, This thing held its own, You could hear when it was up close, the fans pick up speed or slow down just to keep it coordinates. Pretty steady machine
That's what I found with the Phantom3. The wind was 10/15 gusts and it stayed stable. You could hear the motors running to compensate for the gusts. What amazing technology and I cant wait to fly again.
Well worth the money spent.
