Not necessarily a CMM problem or question but does anyone here use metrology putty? If so, what do you prefer. The stuff i looked at is rather expensive so basically fishing for alternatives. Looking for something to make measuring "Hard to Measure" ID features easier to measure. For example...small radii...Thx
When we do a HSG with 100+ molds that need to be made I'll pull out the repro-rubber (orange medium body). We have the gun with the self mixing tips, it works awesome but it sucks that the tips are a one time use. For our everyday use we use Xiameter rtv-3112 base with #4 catalyst (dow corning product).
