Absurdly cheap renishaw parts source

So, metrologyparts dot com has Renishaw stuff at dirt cheap prices, (EX: SCR200's are >50% off MSRP), new in box. They also sell refurb and used hardware on their site. I called the place and asked them if they were a licensed retailer for Renishaw, and the rep said "Yes" then explained that they do over $5mil in sales and get volume pricing. They also buy for example the SCR200 racks with TP200's in a kit, and break them down into reselling the 'kit' purchase as pieceparts to further their profit margin and pass down cost savings to cusstomers.

What's alarming (red flag alarming) is they only accept credit cards or paypal, no net terms. My organization can't buy without the standard net30 net45 terms, so they can't be added to our supplier list.
Is this place legit?

  • We just ordered 2 SCR200 racks and the TP200 and module kits from them. I have them both installed and running great. The equipment that I got from them looks brand new. I will be ordering more modules in the future as I fill up my 2nd rack.

Hexagon wanted over $14,000 for the 2 racks. Big Big savings. They arrived in less than 5 business days.
