Datum target (tooling point) tolerance

Hi guys, does anyone know what is the tolerance for datum target?
I see Boeing gives .005 in. but I couldn’t find anything in Asme Y14.5. Thanks

Attached is a snip from a Boeing spec

  • I have had some drawings before which say, datum target is at X 20, Y 20 within 0.5mm but these were specific customer drawings and tbh the CMM can always reach within that. I have also had a specific customer drawing say that when doing an iterative alignment the point tolerance must be within 0.1. However I have never seen a standard for it just customer specifics
